RELATING TO CHILD ABUSE. Requires Department of Education schools and charter schools to post signs containing the Department of Human Services hotline for reporting child abuse and neglect.

RELATING TO NUISANCES. Requires the department of health to examine into all feral bird and pigeon nuisance complaints and requires the department to order the owner to abate, destroy, remove, or prevent the nuisance and clean the filth resulting from a feral bird or pigeon nuisance. Defines "feral bird or pigeon nuisance".

RELATING TO SERVICE AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS. Defines emotional support animals and makes it a misdemeanor to knowingly make a misrepresentation regarding a service dog or emotional support animal.

RELATING TO HEALTH. Prohibits the remote sale and shipment of cigarettes and tobacco products, including electronic smoking devices, to consumers except to licensed wholesalers or dealers and permit-holding retailers. Makes violation of the prohibition a class C felony.

RELATING TO CHILDREN. Allows a minor to petition the Family Court for emancipation, and directs the court regarding investigation of the petition, appointment of legal counsel and a guardian ad litem for the petitioner, and the findings necessary to grant the petition. Specifies the rights gained by the minor upon emancipation and authorizes the court to require the minor's parents or legal guardians to pay for any services ordered by the court.

· The date and time of the hearing; and

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
