Status

RELATING TO TAXATION.

Provides that a person is engaging in business in the State for the purpose of the general excise tax law if, in the current or immediately preceding calendar year, the person has $100,000 or more in gross income, or two hundred or more separate transactions, from the sale of tangible personal property delivered in the State, services used or consumed in the State, or intangible property used in the State.

Status

RELATING TO COUNTY LAND USE REQUIREMENTS.

Prohibits residential or congregate use of sheds or other structures on agricultural lands.  Prohibits residential development on lands previously or currently in a preservation zoning district.  Requires condominium property regimes to comply with county subdivision or equivalent requirements subject to exceptions.  Requires that an application for registration of a project in a county agricultural zoning district or preservation zoning district include a verified statement, signed by an appropriate county official, that the project is in compliance with any applicable supplemental county ordinances, county subdivision standards, and other rules, and an agricultural business plan, farm plan, or conservation plan.

Status

RELATING TO ENERGY.

On or before January 1, 2020, requires the PUC to establish performance incentive and penalty mechanisms that directly tie electric utility revenues to the utility's achievement on performance metrics.  Exempts member-owned cooperative electric utilities.  Effective 7/1/2018.
