Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.B. No. 2611, H.D. 1, entitled:
"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT,"
begs leave to report as follows:
The
purpose of this measure is to
appropriate funds to the Department of Health to establish:
(1) A comprehensive and coordinated continuum of
treatment services for persons with multiple chronic conditions, including
substance abuse disorders;
(2) A comprehensive and coordinated centralized
referral system in each county;
(3) A comprehensive and coordinated substance use
disorder case management program; and
(4) A peer mentoring and coaching program.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 2611, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
