SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT

TO:     Senate Bill No. 2047, S.D. 2

            SECTION 1. Senate Bill No. 2047, S.D. 2, section 1(a), is amended as follows:

1.  By inserting a new paragraph at page 1, line 4, to read:

          "(1)  Contracting and procurement policies and practices, including:

          (A)  Whether contractors and vendors are adequately screened and qualified; and

          (B)  Compliance with state and federal laws and whether contracts are awarded in accordance with the state procurement code;"

            2.  By renumbering the remaining paragraphs accordingly.

            SECTION 2.  Senate Bill No. 2047, S.D. 2, section 1, is amended by making a technical, nonsubstantive amendment by deleting the subsection (a) designation at page 1, line 1.
