A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EIGHTEENTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2018-2019:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Aina Haina elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for a five thousand square foot parking lot on the mauka side of the school; and ground and site improvements.

B. Aina Haina elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction to add fencing around the perimeter of the school to increase safety; and ground and site improvements.

Construction and equipment for three world language classrooms, which would be an addition to the initial world language classroom's foundation site; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2018.
