Expands the powers and duties of the stadium authority to develop the stadium property and establish a stadium complex area.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

Appropriates moneys for the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) Executive Director to conduct a feasibility study regarding: (1) HCDA assuming the role of planning, developing, and redeveloping all state-owned lands, except lands administered by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority, within one-half mile of the Honolulu rail transit system; and (2) creating a new community development district along the Honolulu rail corridor.  Requires report to the Legislature.  (SB1148 HD1)

Status

RELATING TO THE HILO COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DISTRICT.

Provides for the redevelopment of the Hilo area by establishing the framework, requirements, and conditions for redevelopment districts and specifically designating the Waiakea Peninsula Redevelopment District, appropriates funds for the implementation of the redevelopment district program, and makes conforming amendments to lease restrictions on public lands to facilitate the implementation of redevelopment districts.  (SB1292 HD1)

RELATING TO TECHNOLOGY.

Clarifies the State and counties authority to prohibit, regulate, or charge for the co-location of small wireless or wireline facilities or small wireless or wireline facilities networks.  Provides state and county zoning rules and classifications regarding the co-location of small wireless or wireline facilities and small wireless or wireline facilities networks.  Describes the application process and rates for co-location.  (SB1201 HD1)

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website.  This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.

 

If during the course of the hearing it appears that there will not be sufficient time to allow everyone to be heard, the chairperson reserves the right to limit the remaining testifiers to three-minutes.  This three-minute policy will be enforced to ensure fairness and adequate consideration to all bills.
