RELATING TO MEDICAID. Requires the department of human services, in collaboration with the department of health, to review the progress of the Hawaii pathways project pilot and continue to pursue efforts to utilize medicaid to provide supportive housing services for chronically homeless individuals. Provides considerations for the department in planning for the expansion of supportive housing services provided through medicaid managed care plans. Requires the department to report to the legislature. Makes an appropriation. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO FALL PREVENTION. Makes an appropriation to the department of health for the full-time equivalent fall prevention and early detection coordinator position established by Act 153, Session Laws of Hawaii 2014. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO PARKING FOR DISABLED PERSONS. Establishes that the sale or purchase of a removable windshield placard, a temporary removable windshield placard, or special license plates is a misdemeanor. Clarifies the authority of law enforcement officers or commissioned volunteer enforcement officers to confiscate valid and invalid removable windshield placards, temporary removable windshield placards, or invalid special license plates for fraudulent manufacture or alteration; unauthorized use or display; and sale or purchase. DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
