The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive an update on Rat Lungworm Disease from the Department of Health and the state-wide Joint Task Force to address Rat Lungworm Disease in Hawaii.
Presentations will be made by:
· Sue Jarvi, Ph.D., School of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo
· Virginia Pressler, M.D., Director of Health, State Department of Health
· Jeri Kahana, Hawaii State Department of Agriculture
· The Joint Task Force will also be providing a few additional presentations
Public is welcome, but no public testimony will be accepted.
