A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to vector control.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $741,996 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2017-2018 and $613,876 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2018-2019 for program costs and to establish twelve permanent full-time equivalent (12.00 FTE) positions in the vector control branch of the department of health.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2017.
