HOUSE RESOLUTION

 

 

Congratulating the Roosevelt high school team as the 2017 lifesmarts hawaii STATE champions.

 

 

 

     WHEREAS, the ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL TEAM is the 2017 LifeSmarts Hawaii State Champion, as a result of their extraordinary dedication and teamwork while competing in the 13th annual LifeSmarts Hawaii competition, which was sponsored by the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and the Hawaii Credit Union League; and

 

     WHEREAS, during the competition, team members demonstrated knowledge of personal finance, technology, environment, health and safety, and consumer rights and responsibilities; and

 

     WHEREAS, the ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL TEAM gained experience and knowledge that will assist them in everyday challenges and future endeavors; and

 

     WHEREAS, the ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL TEAM will be competing in the national competition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from April 21-24, 2017; now, therefore,

 

     BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-ninth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2017, that this body hereby commends, congratulates, and honors the ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL TEAM for their outstanding accomplishments and much-deserved recognition, and extends to them its sincere mahalo and best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
