RELATING TO GOVERNMENTAL TRAVEL.

Requires the State and counties to pay the approved travel costs of their officers and employees directly to vendors or by cash advance to the officer or employee, unless otherwise provided in a collective bargaining agreement.  (HB2247 HD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT.

Prohibits the State from hiring persons for more than two 89-day terms in a fully general-funded position per lifetime of the person.  Provides for limited exceptions.  (HB2008 HD2)

RELATING TO STATE EMPLOYEES.

Requires that the number of civil service exempt employees not exceed a certain percentage in the Executive Branch, excluding the Department of the Attorney General.  Requires the Department of Human Resources Development to report on the number of exempt executive employees.  Requires departments to reduce the number of exempt employees if the total exceeds five percent.  (HB2477 HD2)
