Ensures the legislature fulfills its responsibility under article XII, section 1, of the state constitution by appropriating sufficient general funds for reimbursement of administration and operating expenses of the department of Hawaiian home lands for fiscal year 2016.  (HB1932 HD2)

RELATING TO THE KING KAMEHAMEHA CELEBRATION COMMISSION.

Amends the membership, mission, and purpose of the King Kamehameha Celebration Commission.  Authorizes the Chairperson to appoint an advisory committee for historical and archival matters.  Authorizes the Commission to appoint an Executive Director.  (HB2277 HD1)

RELATING TO THE GENERAL EXCISE TAX.

Establishes a general excise tax at the wholesale rate of an unspecified per cent for the gross proceeds or income from all products produced by Hawaiian loko i‘a.  (HB2458 HD2)
