RELATING TO A GENERAL EXCISE TAX EXEMPTION FOR LOW INCOME RENTAL SUBSIDIES. Exempts rental subsidy payments for Section 8 and Housing First Programs from the state general excise tax. (HB1958 HD1)

RELATING TO THE DWELLING UNIT REVOLVING FUND. Authorizes the creation of Regional State Infrastructure Improvement Subaccounts within the Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund and the use of the Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund to provide loans and grants to finance regional state infrastructure improvements in areas of planned growth. RELATING TO HOUSING. Bases the amount of the tax credit on whether or not a building is financed by tax-exempt bonds. Increases funding for affordable rental housing development by making the State Low-Income Housing Tax Credit more valuable. Reduces State Tax Credit period from ten to five years. (HB2744 HD1)
