Establishes the Hawaii Sports Task Force to plan and coordinate efforts to keep the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, to secure Hawaii as a host site for a National Football League pre-season game, world-title soccer tournaments, mixed martial arts Ultimate Fighting Championship tournaments and other international sporting events at Aloha Stadium, and to secure and maintain Hawaii as a host site for other sporting and sports entertainment events statewide. Establishes the Hawaii Sports Task Force to plan and coordinate efforts aimed at the promotion and growth of the State's sports entertainment and event hosting industry. (HB2229 HD1)

RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. Establishes a Kapolei Jobs Initiative Program that offers tax incentives to increase the number of businesses willing to establish or relocate themselves in the Kapolei region. (HB2486 HD3)

RELATING TO BROADBAND. Makes permanent the provisions of Act 264, SLH 2013, which requires the State and the counties to take action within sixty days for broadband-related permit applications, requires the State to take action within one hundred forty-five days for use applications for broadband facilities within the conservation district, establishes other requirements regarding broadband-related permits, and subjects weight load for utility poles to capacities established by the FCC and PUC.
