A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to Land acquisition.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $6,519,560 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the purchase of the following parcels of Dole lands: tax map key numbers 6-7-01-37, 6-7-02-37, 6-7-02-46, 6-7-02-47, and 6-7-13-07; provided that the price does not exceed the amount appropriated.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of agriculture for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2016.
