SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $1,992,888.08 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the purchase of an ambulance vehicle and the operational costs for one ambulance unit, including equipment, supplies, and personnel costs for state-certified emergency medical service personnel, to service the area of Kakaako in the city and county of Honolulu.
