HOUSE RESOLUTION
relating to caucus leaders and COMmittee assignments of the house of representatives of the twenty-eighth legislature.
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2016, that GREGG TAKAYAMA shall no longer be a member of the Labor & Public Employment Committee, but shall remain as the Chair of the Public Safety Committee and a member of the Transportation Committee, the Consumer Protection & Commerce Committee, and the Judiciary Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that MATTHEW S. LOPRESTI shall no longer be a member of the Education Committee and Higher Education Committee; but shall be a member of the Finance Committee, and shall remain as the Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee and a member of the Labor & Public Employment Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this body acknowledge and recognize that ANDRIA P.L. TUPOLA has been duly elected by the minority caucus to be the Minority Policy Leader along with Minority Policy Leader GENE WARD; but shall no longer be the Minority Floor Leader; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this body acknowledge and recognize that FEKI POUHA has been duly elected by the minority caucus to be the Minority Floor Leader; but shall no longer be a Minority Whip; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended by this Resolution, all appointments and committee memberships of the House of Representatives adopted by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2015, shall remain in full force and effect.
