HOUSE RESOLUTION

 

 

Congratulating the ‘IOLANI high school team as the 2016 lifesmarts hawaii STATE champions.

 

 

 

                WHEREAS, the ‘IOLANI HIGH SCHOOL TEAM is the 2016 LifeSmarts Hawaii State Champion, as a result of their extraordinary dedication and teamwork while competing in the 12th annual LifeSmarts Hawaii competition, which was sponsored by the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and the Hawaii Credit Union League; and

 

     WHEREAS, during the competition, team members demonstrated knowledge of personal finance, technology, the environment, health and safety, and consumer rights and responsibilities; and

 

WHEREAS, the ‘IOLANI HIGH SCHOOL TEAM gained valuable experience and knowledge that will assist them in everyday challenges and future endeavors; and

 

     WHEREAS, the ‘IOLANI HIGH SCHOOL TEAM will be competing in the national competition in Denver, Colorado, from April 9-12, 2016; now, therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2016, that this body hereby commends, congratulates, and honors the ‘IOLANI HIGH SCHOOL TEAM for their outstanding accomplishments and much-deserved recognition, and extends to all of them its sincere mahalo and best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
