A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to post-secondary education.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Chapter 305J, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

     "§305J-   Opportunity for administrative hearing. An institution may, within fifteen days of the receipt of notification of denial or of intent to suspend or terminate any authorization, request an administrative hearing pursuant to chapter 91."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
