A BILL FOR AN ACT

RElating to Air Quality measurement.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Chapter 342B, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

     "§342B-   Air quality measurement; urban districts. For emissions investigations located within urban districts, samples of air quality shall be measured at:

(1) The source; and

(2) The location of the nearest affected person."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
