A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO LIPOA POINT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  In carrying out its duties under section 171-3(a), Hawaii Revised Statutes, to manage the land and natural resources of this State, the department of land and natural resources shall implement a management plan developed by the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust for the Lipoa point area within the Lipoa point district, identified as TMK 2-4-1-001-010-0000, on the island of Maui.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
