A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to the molokai irrigation system water users advisory board.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Section 167-23, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (b) to read as follows:

     "(b)  All members of the advisory board shall be:

     (1)  Molokai irrigation system users[;], or their agents, officers, or employees; and

     (2)  Residents of the island of Molokai[; and

(3) Active general excise tax licensees]."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
