A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EIGHTEENTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2015-2016.
1. To be expended by the department of transportation:
A. Design and construction to repave Kalanianaole highway from West Hind drive to Ainakoa avenue.

2. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Aina Haina elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction of ADA-compliant restrooms for public meeting attendees.

Design and construction of an administration building
extension for additional meeting space.

C. Aina Haina public library, Oahu
Design and construction of ADA-compliant public

D. Kalani high school, Oahu
Design, construction, and equipment for a girls locker room and shower building in order to conform to Title IX requirements.

Design and construction of a multipurpose athletic
facility.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
