The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive an update on how the accomplishments of “The Rain Follows the Forest” watershed initiative are mitigating climate change and securing Hawaii’s water supplies. Statewide projects and future plans for invasive species removal, native tree plantings, fence construction, and other priority actions will be discussed.
Presentations will be made by:

· Colleen Cole, Coordinator, Three Mountain Alliance Watershed Partnership (Hawaii Island)
· Jordan Jokiel, Coordinator, Leeward Haleakala Watershed Restoration Partnership (Maui)
