RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE. Establishes a Women's Veterans Coordinator position within the Office of Veterans Services. Appropriation. Effective July 1, 2014.

RELATING TO VETERANS. Requires the counties to obtain approval from the office of veterans' services prior to any action that may impact the State's obligation to establish and maintain veteran's cemeteries.

RELATING TO VETERANS. Exempts qualifying totally and permanently disabled veterans from paying the state motor vehicle registration fee. Requires the Office of Veterans Services to report the number of qualifying veterans to the legislature and department of taxation. (HB1667 HD1)

RELATING TO HUNTING LICENSES. Establishes a lifetime hunting license for qualified disabled veterans and veterans who have received a purple heart.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
