RELATING TO ILLEGAL PARKING UPON BIKEWAYS.

Sets a minimum fine of $200 for parking a vehicle on a bicycle lane or pathway.  (HB1706 HD1)

RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Extends Department of Transportation's authority to extend the term of an airport concession, and to modify and amend the terms of any concession contracts, leases, and permits in exchange for revenue-enhancing improvements that are made or paid for by the concession.  Effective June 30, 2014.  (HB1811 HD1)

Appropriates capital improvement project funds for the planning, design, and construction of a shared-use pathway along the mauka side of Kahekili Highway.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (HB736 HD2)

RELATING TO HIGHWAY SAFETY.

Specifies that operating a motor vehicle in the State while using a mobile device is a traffic infraction.  Specifies that the penalty for such an infraction shall be a fine of not less than $250 and that collected fines shall be deposited in the state highway fund.  (HB1509 HD1)
