RELATING TO TAXATION.

Authorizes income tax return designations to the American Red Cross Hawaii State Chapter.  Effective 07/01/2030.  (HD1)

RELATING TO CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD CHECKS.

Allows qualified entities to conduct state and national fingerprint-based criminal history record checks on their applicants, employees, and volunteers who provide care for children, vulnerable adults, or the disabled, and to receive the results directly.  Effective July 2, 2014.  (HB2243 HD1)

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO NOTICE TO CHILDREN PURSUANT TO THE CHILD PROTECTIVE ACT.

Provides that a summons under the Child Protective Act shall be served upon all parties, except the child, after petition has been filed.  Requires the petitioner to notify the child of a hearing no less than 24 hours prior to a temporary foster custody hearing or no less than 48 hours prior to any other hearing.  (HB2298 HD1)
