RELATING TO FOSTER CARE SERVICES.

Increases the monthly board rate for foster care services.  Makes an appropriation.  Requires DHS to report on impact of board rate increase.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (HB1576 HD1)

RELATING TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

Establishes and appropriates funds for the Medicaid Buy-in Program for Workers with Disabilities.  Effective July 1, 2030.  (HB1754 HD2)

RELATING TO AGING.

Appropriates general funds to provide ongoing financial support to healthy aging programs and services.  Requires the Executive Office on Aging to conduct a public education and awareness campaign on long-term care and appropriates general funds for its support and evaluation.  Effective July 1, 2014.

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Amends the conveyance tax percentage amount paid into the Rental Housing Trust Fund to fifty per cent and makes an appropriation to and out of the fund for an increase in affordable rental housing units.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (HB2059 HD2)

RELATING TO THE HOUSING LOAN AND MORTGAGE PROGRAM.

Increases the Hula Mae Multifamily Revenue Bond authorization limit from $750,000,000 to $1,000,000,000.  Effective July 1, 2030.  (HB2251 HD1)

RELATING TO THE HAWAII PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY'S ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM.

Requires surrender of housing voucher upon vacancy of unit by last original household member or upon the last minor household member reaching age twenty-one.  Effective July 1, 2525.  (HB1539 HD1)

RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS.

Establishes the Hale Kokua Program under the Housing First Program within the Department of Human Services to incentivize homeowners statewide to set aside dwelling units for rental by families or individuals classified as employed but homeless.  Appropriates funds to the Housing First Special Fund for the Hale Kokua Program.  Effective July 1, 2025.  (HB1841 HD1)
