RELATING TO TAXATION. Establishes a renewable fuels production tax credit. Specifies that the right to claim the credit will be lost if certain information is not reported to the Department of Taxation and Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism. Repeals the ethanol facility tax credit. Effective for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2014, until December 31, 2025. Effective on January 20, 2050. (HB2060 HD2)

RELATING TO ENERGY STORAGE. Establishes an income tax credit for each grid-connected energy storage property that is installed and placed in service in the State during the taxable year beginning after December 31, 2014; provided that this tax credit shall not be available for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025. The tax credit may be claimed as either an investment credit or utilization credit. Effective July 1, 2112. (HB2618 HD2)

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSIST COMMUNITIES WITH THE REMOVAL OF MOTOR VEHICLE TIRES. Appropriates funds to assist communities affected by discarded or abandoned tires by providing funds for programs promoting the removal of abandoned tires that have been illegally dumped from the landscape, including funding county abandoned tire removal programs. RELATING TO BIOSECURITY. Authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 for the planning, design, and construction of biosecurity facilities at harbors and airports throughout the State. Effective July 1, 2014. (HB2426 HD1)

RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST SEAWATER AIR CONDITIONING PROJECTS ON OAHU. Extends the authorization of the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to Honolulu Seawater Air Conditioning, LLC, for the purpose of design and construction of a seawater air conditioning district cooling system in downtown Honolulu, for an additional five years. Effective June 29, 2112. (HB1951 HD1)

RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST WITH THE PLANNING, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, EQUIPPING, LAND LEASES, AND OTHER TANGIBLE ASSETS FOR A RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT WITH ENERGY STORAGE TECHNOLOGY ON THE ISLAND OF MOLOKAI. Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to assist Princeton Energy Group or a related special purpose entity with the financing and refinancing costs relating to the planning, design, and construction of a renewable energy project with energy storage technology on the island of Molokai. Effective July 1, 2050. (HB1942 HD1)
