RELATING TO PODIATRISTS. Adopts the national standard of a minimum of 24 months in an accredited podiatric residency prior to licensure as a podiatrist, with provided exceptions. Effective July 1, 2050. (HB1882 HD2)

RELATING TO TRAVEL INSURANCE. Establishes a limited lines travel insurance producer license for producers selling, soliciting, or negotiating travel insurance through a licensed insurer. Authorizes travel retailers to offer travel insurance on behalf of and under the supervision of a limited lines travel insurance producer. Effective July 1, 2112. (HB2215 HD1)

RELATING TO CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS. Requires licensed marriage and family therapists to complete a minimum of forty-five hours of continuing education courses, including six hours in ethic courses, during each licensing renewal period, for the period beginning January 1, 2017, and thereafter.

RELATING TO CREDIT PROTECTION. Enables a credit reporting agency to place a security freeze on the record for a protected consumer, who is a minor or incapacitated person, upon the request of the protected consumer's representative. Effective July 1, 2112. (HB712 HD1)

RELATING TO THE DISCIPLINARY AUTHORITY OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTANCY. Clarifies that the board of public accountancy may take over one or more disciplinary actions against any person for violations of accountancy regulatory law, and increases the amount of the administrative fine that may be imposed for any violation.

RELATING TO INSURANCE. Establishes and appropriates funds for the state innovation waiver task force to develop a plan for applying for a state innovation waiver under the PPACA. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD3)

RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION. Makes using software to circumvent online safeguards to purchase event tickets for the purpose of scalping and selling or offering event tickets for more than face value plus taxes and specified service charges unfair and deceptive practices in the conduct of trade or commerce. Imposes fines. Effective July 1, 2112. (HB2012 HD2)

RELATING TO CONTRACTORS. Increases the fine against unlicensed contractors who commit licensing violations against elders.
