A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to the department of land and natural RESOURCES.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $21,000,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for the construction of amenities included in the Sand Island ocean recreation park master plan.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $8,000,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for the general management and administration costs of the state parks division of the department of land and natural resources.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.


     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
