A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to hotel class liquor licenses.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 281-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "hotel" to read as follows:
""Hotel" means an establishment
consisting of one or more buildings which contain [(1)] such total
number of rooms as may be prescribed by the commission and in which rooms
sleeping accommodations are provided and offered for adequate pay to transient
or permanent guests[; and (2) a suitable and adequate kitchen and dining
room, where meals are regularly prepared and served to hotel guests and other
customers]."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
