A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE REVOLVING FUND.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $2,600,000.00 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 to support environmental health activities and programs.
SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be deposited in the environmental response revolving fund, established under section 128D-2, to be used for response actions and preparedness, including removal and remedial actions, consistent with chapter 128D. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act, upon its approval, shall take effect on July 1, 2014.
