A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO SMALL BOAT HARBOR FACILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $1,500,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for improvements to the Kawaihae small boat harbor-north basin breakwall, and any repairs necessitated by storm damages, or improvements to the loading dock, pier, boat ramp, parking lot, drainage, and grounds.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $150,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 to plan and design a permanent replacement for the Puako boat ramp loading dock.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2014.
