A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to contractors.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 444-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new definition to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows:
""Incidental and supplemental work" means any work in a craft or trade other than the craft or trade for which the licensee is licensed that is directly related to and necessary for the completion of a project undertaken by the licensee, subordinate to the project, and for which the contract price, including labor, materials, taxes, and related costs, to perform the work as a percentage of the total contract price or the time involved to perform the work as a percentage of the total time involved is not more than the following:

SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
