A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE THIRTY-seventh REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The thirty-seventh representative district encompasses Mililani, Waipio Gentry, and Waikele, which includes the new and expanding areas of Waipio Gentry, Waikele, and the older areas of Mililani. Aging and deteriorating school facilities and other needs in the district require repair and maintenance to ensure that these facilities meet the educational needs of youth in the community and the community at large.
The purpose of this Act is to appropriate funds for capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-seventh representative district.
SECTION 2. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2013-2014:

A. Highlands intermediate school, Oahu
Design and construction of an addition to an existing rock wall surrounding the school.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
