A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-ninth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2013-2014:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. James Campbell high school, Oahu
Plans, design, construction, and equipment for the construction of a synthetic track.

B. Honowai elementary school, Oahu

design, construction, and equipment for the construction of a new
eight-classroom building.

Plans, design, construction, and equipment for the construction of a new administration building.

Plans, design, construction, and equipment for an upgrade of the school's electrical system.

Plans, design, construction, and equipment for a school air conditioning system.

Design, construction, and equipment for the construction of the first increment, ground and site improvements, and equipment and appurtenances, necessary to relieve the overcrowding of Kaleiopu‘u Elementary School and address enrollment growth in the community.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
