Status

RELATING TO LAND USE.

Establishes the Honokohau Marina Community Development District on the island of Hawaii under the Hawaii Community Development Authority.

RELATING TO STATE AGENCIES.

Increases the membership of the BLNR, commission on water resource management, and LUC, respectively, to include a member to represent the interests of the OHA.

RELATING TO CEDED LANDS.

Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to conduct an audit of all state-held lands and an inventory of ceded lands, and report to the Legislature prior to the convening of the 2014 session.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony no later than 5pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.  Testimony should indicate:

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·     The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;

·     The date and time of the hearing; and

·     Measure number.

 

While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

 

At the request of the Chair, please limit testimony to 3 minutes.  Additional time may be granted at the discretion of the Chair. 

 

Submit testimony in ONE of the following ways:

PAPER:  10 copies (including an original) to Room 328 in the State Capitol;

WEB:     For testimony less than 10MB in size, transmit from http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/submittestimony.aspx.

 

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
