At the Monday, December 2, 2013 meeting it was discussed that the following areas of concerns will be presented to the Oversight of Home Community-Based Services Working Group Members at the next meeting scheduled on Monday,   December 9, 2013.

 

              Social Model vs. Medical Model – Ron Gallegos

 

              Appropriate Placement and Payment Parity – Ron Gallegos

                      (Possibly looking at the Aging and Disability Resource Centers to do assessments)

 

              Review Federal and State definitions and Pay Schedule of Various Care Settings – Ron Gallegos

 

Nurse Delegation Requirements among Adult Day Health Centers, Expanded Adult Residential Care Homes and Adult Community Care Foster Homes – Nancy Walch

 

The public is welcome to attend this meeting.  However, no public testimony will be accepted.  The public can submit their questions to the staff at the meeting for the Oversight HCBS Working Group Members to consider at a later date.
