Act 93, SLH 2012 transfers certain programs of the Department of Human Services, relating to home and community-based case management, community care foster family homes, and adult day care, to the Department of Health on July 1, 2014.
To review and address the issues that may affect all of these care setting providers during the transition, the Oversight of Home and Community-Based Services (OHCBS) Working Group was established through Act 215, SLH 2013.
The working group consists of the chairs of the House of Representatives and Senate Committees on Human Services, one representative from the Department of Human Services, one representative from the Department of Health, four representatives of community care foster family homes, four representatives of adult residential care homes, two representatives from adult day care centers, two representatives of developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, two representatives of adult foster homes and two representatives of licensed care management agencies.
No public testimony will be accepted.
