MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CLAIMS AGAINST THE STATE, ITS OFFICERS, OR ITS EMPLOYEES. Makes appropriations for claims against the State, its officers, and its employees. (HB775 HD2)

RELATING TO GOVERNMENT TORT LIABILITY. Allows any party, including the State of Hawaii, to demand a jury trial in any action brought against the State under Chapter 662, Hawaii Revised Statutes. Effective July 1, 2030. (HB776 HD2)

RELATING TO COLLECTIVE BARGAINING. Authorizes the HLRB to provide written notice of hearing to all parties by first class mail at least fifteen days before the hearing, notwithstanding section 91-9.5, HRS, and makes necessary housekeeping amendments that conform to existing law. (HD1)

RELATING TO MEDICAL BENEFITS UNDER THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAW. Allows the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations to make a decision on disputes regarding treatment plans and continued medical services without a hearing, upon the mutual consent of both parties. (HD2)

RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION MEDICAL FEE SCHEDULES. Increases maximum allowable medical fees under workers' compensation to 130 percent of the Medicare Resource Based Relative Value Scale. Effective January 1, 2113. (HB152 HD1)

RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION. Requires that a workers' compensation impartial examination be conducted by a doctor whose specialty is appropriate for the injury to be examined. Effective January 1, 2113. (HB436 HD1)
