The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive an overview and update on the operations and current projects of the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH); its role in the University of Hawaii System of research and grant cultivation; the types of research and departments/fields represented; the number of projects and personnel involved; and the total value of activities. Also of interest is the implementation of Act 288 (2013 Session Laws of Hawaii; Senate Bill 1388 CD1) which became law on July 9, 2013.
Invited to make the presentation is RCUH Executive Director Michael P. Hamnett.
No public testimony will be accepted.
