RELATING TO DRIVER EDUCATION.

Requires driver education programs to include the distribution of information on organ and tissue donation.  Effective July 1, 2020.  (HB1440 HD1)

RELATING TO SCHOOL ENTRANCE.

Requires, with specified exceptions, that a student have a dental examination and provide proof of such prior to initial entrance in any school in the State.  (HB1131 HD1)

RELATING TO MAMMOGRAPHY REPORTING.

Beginning January 1, 2014, requires health care facilities performing mammography exams to provide to patients with dense breast tissue, a mammography report and notification about associated cancer risks and supplemental screening benefits.

Status

RELATING TO WATER POLLUTION.

Establishes a separate Water Pollution Control account and authorizes the Director of Health to prescribe fees to help fund operations of the Department of Health in managing pollution from nonpoint sources and individual wastewater systems.  Effective July 1, 2013.  (HB903 HD1)
