Status

RELATING TO FORENSIC MENTAL HEALTH.

Establishes a one-year limit on the length of time an individual may remain on conditional release if charged with a misdemeanor, petty misdemeanor, or violation.  Clarifies under what circumstances the one-year conditional release status may be tolled pending an individual's hospitalization.  Requires public agencies in possession of information related to a defendant's fitness to proceed to provide the information to the court.  Effective 07/01/50.  (SD2)

Status

RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT.

Establishes an assisted community treatment program in lieu of the involuntary outpatient treatment program.  Replaces the term "involuntary outpatient treatment" with "assisted community treatment".  Makes several amendments regarding involuntary outpatient treatment procedures.  (SD2)

Status

RELATING TO ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTIONS.

Amends the Uniform Controlled Substances Act in Chapter 329, Hawaii Revised Statutes, by adding definitions consistent with federal law, clarifying the conditions for electronic transmittal of prescriptions, and adding and clarifying violations of prohibited acts.
