The purpose of this informational briefing is to provide an update on the creation of an on-bill renewable energy financing program in Hawaii, as well as an introduction to the next big step forward that will make low-interest financing available to Hawaii’s renters and residents who have been unable to afford the existing cost of distributed renewable energy technologies.
Participating will be The Public Utilities Commission, The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, and Cisco DeVries, a nationally recognized expert in renewable energy financing.
