RELATING TO EDUCATION. Requires the department of health, in consultation with the University of Hawaii school of nursing and dental hygiene, to provide training and clinical direction to school health aides. Repeals section 302A‑708, HRS, which requires the department of education to provide career pathways development and training opportunities to school health aides in the department's school health services field.

RELATING TO EDUCATION. Allows department of education employees and agents to volunteer to administer epinephrine to a student in anaphylactic shock. Requires the department of health to provide proper instruction and training to every employee or agent who volunteers to administer glucagon and epinephrine. Requires a student's parent or guardian to supply injectable epinephrine supplies to administer the epinephrine.

RELATING TO SCHOOL MEALS. Requires the department of education, in collaboration with the department of health, to develop nutritionally-sound public school menu plans that give students the option of a vegetarian entrée as part of a school lunch meal at least once a week. Requires a report to the legislature.
