The purpose of this informational briefing is for the committees to hear from the Department of Education on updates on the progress of Hawaii's Race to the Top (RTTT) grant and ESEA Flexibility application, with a focus on the most recent student growth and achievement results, RTTT funding status, and vision of continuous improvement through ESEA Flexibility support. Updates will also be provided on ongoing implementation of the Educator Evaluation System, Common Core State Standards, and other RTTT initiatives.
FOR AMENDED NOTICES: Measures that have been deleted are stricken through and measures that have been added are underscored. If a measure is both underscored and stricken through, that measure has been deleted from the agenda.
