The purpose of this informational briefing is to provide the committees with an update on the Department of Education's proposed Common Core curriculum strategy. The Department of Education is working to identify high quality, partially digital, curricular materials and implement a 1:1 digital device strategy as a vehicle for improving curriculum, instruction, assessment, and learning.
