RELATING TO ENERGY INFORMATION REPORTING. Amends the responsibilities and powers of the Public Utilities Commission in receiving energy industry data information registrations, and authorizes the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to receive such registrations; and eliminates the Commission's powers concerning the oversight and examination of energy distributors in relation to energy industry information reporting under chapter 486J, Hawaii Revised Statutes. Effective July 1, 2013. (HB811 HD1)

RELATING TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING URBAN GARDENING. Authorizes the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation and Hawaii Community Development Authority to develop programs that provide incentives for the development of housing projects that incorporate urban gardening programs. (HB560 HD1)

RELATING TO URBAN GROWTH COMMISSION. Establishes an urban growth commission to establish standards for density, building design, and infrastructure, and other standards the commission deems necessary to mitigate adverse impacts of development on the surrounding community, within urban growth boundaries.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;
· The date and time of the hearing; and
· Measure number.
While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

WEB: For testimony less than 10MB in size, transmit from http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/submittestimony.aspx.
Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
