The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive an update from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) of the federal Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) regarding the progress of national health insurance exchange implementation across the country. These federal officials represent the agency tasked with administering the health insurance exchange implementation program and grant funding. The briefing will provide insight into their role for oversight of the grant funding and implementation of the Hawaii Health Connector, Hawaii’s state-based health insurance exchange.
The following individuals are invited to participate:

· Eric Alborg, State Officer, State Exchange Group, HHS, CMS, CCIIO
No public testimony will be accepted.
